Pudukkottai DCA won the toss and chose to bowl. Tiruvannamalai DCA posted 126 in 40.5 overs with K. Tharun and J. Vasanthan scoring 42 and 15 respectively. Murugappa, Sarath Bharathy and Amal took 3 for 36, 2 for 17 and 1 for 20 respectively for Pudukkottai.
In reply Pudukkottai DCA scored 27 in 18.3 Overs. Murugappa alone managed to score 11 for Pudukkottai. Jayendran claimed 5 wickets for 8 while Captain Sathyamoorthy took 2 wickets for 10 and Abdur Rahim took 2 wickets for 8 for Tiruvannamalai DCA.
Tiruvannamalai DCA won the match by 99 runs with a bonus point.
