At Valivalam Desikar Polytechnic, Nagapattinam, in the TNCA age group under 14, I round match, Nagapattinam DCA faced Tirunelveli DCA. After won the toss, Nagai chose to field first.

Tirunelveli DCA scored 95 in 36.2 overs. S. Syed Aziz took 3 for 25 for Nagai. Nagai chased the target in 20.2 overs after losing 3 wickets. S. Syed Aziz scored 25 and Kathiravan scored 39 for Nagai.

Nagapattinam won the match by 7 wickets with a bonus point.

In the same zone at SBAT Mini stadium, Poraiyur, Theni DCA faced Namakkal DCA. Theni won the toss and elected to bat. Theni DCA scored 135 in 47.4 overs. M.S. Dinakaran scored 36 for Theni. P. V. Abishek Rahul and S. Gobi took 3 wickets each for 18 & 22 respectively for Namakkal DCA. Namakkal DCA chased down the target in 33.3 overs to earn the bonus point for the loss of 6 wickets. S. Sanjay Srinivas scored 62 for Namakkal DCA.

TNCA UNDER 14 - ROUND 1

In TNCA age group under 14 round 1 on match on 26.08.2012 between Tiruvannamalai DCA and Villupuram DCA on 26.08.2012 at SIGA group of Institutions, Kappiampuliyur Tiruvannamalai DCA faced Villupuram DCA. Earlier Tiruvannamalai and Villupuram won all their two matches.

Villupuram won the toss and chose to bat. Villupuram DCA scored 112 all out in 47.5 overs. Tiruvannamalai DCA bowlers, Imraan and Tharun shared 2 each and Abdur Rahim, Sathyamoorthy, Jayendran, Hariharan and J. Vasanthan shared 1 each respectively.

Tiruvannamalai DCA chased the target in 35.4 overs after losing 6 wickets. J. Vasanthan and Hariharan remained not out in 24 & 11 respectively while Abdur Rahim and Jayendran scored 16 each. Murasoli and J. Manikandan took 2 wickets each for 19 & 30 respectively for Villupuram DCA.

TNCA UNDER 14 - ROUND 1

On 25.08.2012, in the TNCA under 14 I round match played at Surya group of Institutions, Vikravandi Tiruvannamalai DCA faced Thanjavur DCA. Match was delayed due to wet ground conditions and match was reduced to 34 overs/side. Thanjavur DCA won the toss and chose to bowl.

Tiruvannamalai DCA scored 137/5 in 34 overs. Captain S. Sathyamoorthy remained unbeaten with 58 and S. Santhosh Kumar, J. Vasanthan and Jayendran shared some useful contributions of 16, 12 & 12* respectively for Tiruvannamalai. Yogesh took 3 wickets for 18 for Thanjavur.

In reply Thanjavur DCA scored 71/5 in 34 overs. Captain Vishwa scored 22 and N.S. Anirudh scored 15* for Thanjavur. J. Vasanthan and S. Navin Kumar took 2 wickets each for 8 & 14 respectively for Tiruvannamalai DCA.

Tiruvannamalai DCA won by 66 runs with a bonus point.
