On 29.11.2012, in the Coimbatore district cricket association's Inter school tournament - non age group matches for N. Giridhari Prasad trophy, RKS Kalvinilayam Hr Sec School beat Vidhyaniketan and Main Hr Sec School, Main Hr Sec School beat SBOA Mat Hr Sec school and Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Mat Hr Sec School beat Chinmaya Mat Hr Sec school.
- N. Vignesh Ashwin performed with ball and bat for RKS to win their both the matches.
- Godwin Rubesh's quick fire 91 of 71 balls and unbeaten partnership with Somasundaram who scored 55 not out registered a thumping win for Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Mat Hr Sec school.
- Badrinath and Abdul Hakkim registered a victory for Main Hr sec school against SBOA while Kabin Sanjay and Surya Prasannah showed the fighting gesture, scored 61 and 49 respectively in Main Hr Sec School's lost match against RKS Kalvinilayam.
